Tether Leads €30 Million Funding Round for Bit2Me to Fuel EU and Latin America Expansion
Tether has taken a minority stake in Bit2Me and is leading a €30 million investment to accelerate the Spanish-speaking crypto platform's growth in the European Union and Latin America. The move follows Bit2Me's landmark authorization as Spain's first MiCA-compliant Crypto-Asset Service Provider, granting pan-European operational legitimacy.
"This partnership reflects our shared vision for compliant, accessible digital asset infrastructure," said Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino. The funding will particularly strengthen Bit2Me's Argentine operations while expanding its EU foothold under newly acquired regulatory approval.
